Okay, okay I get it, not many of us enjoy talking about death, or what is going to happen once the unfortunate happens.
Many of you will have put making a will on the ‘to do list ‘and then it ends up on the back burner, and never got done, right?
But unfortunately for you, you can’t assume that if you do nothing that when the time comes, your wishes will automatically be carried out.
Doing nothing means, at worst the government could potentially take everything, at best it could cause family, friends and relatives a lot of distress when it comes to applying to the courts to distribute your estate.
Yes, you heard right, it’s the state that will decide who inherits your assets, not your surviving relatives who you may think know your final wishes.
Therefore it might not always go to who you think, or who you’d wish for your money and possessions to go to.
The bottom line is this: without making a will, you are actually giving up your rights to decide who you leave your property, cash and possessions too … Scary right!?!
Plus, don’t forget all the issues around tax and mortality too, a Will is a good devise for ensuring you pay as little as possible to the government in the way of inheritance tax.
Now, we’ve all said these famous words, ‘not enough time’ ‘it’s too hard’ ‘it’ll be so stressful’ …WRONG In fact, unless your affairs are really complicated, it’s one of the simplest documents to produce, and one that will eventually make a huge difference.
All done by answering our simple questionnaire before sitting back and letting us do all the work for you.
This all sounds GREAT, but how about if I was to tell you that in the month of November 2015, we would actually assist you with making a basic will for FREE as we are participating in WILL AID.
What is Will Aid? Will Aid is a campaign where companies wave the fee for producing basic wills, and instead the clients are then invited to make a donation to Will Aid which supports nine main charities listed below.
- Action Aid;
- British Red Cross;
- Christian Aid;
- Age UK;
- NSPCC;
- Save The Children;
- SCIAF;
- Sight Savers; and
- Trocaire.
Will Aid has been running since 1988, and has been a huge success in changing people’s lives.
Why not make a difference not only to the lives of your loved ones by creating your will and securing their future, but donating to charity and changing the future for others too.
